Why should I take my Advanced Open Water Diver lessons with Tennessee Divers?
With a Tennessee Divers scuba instructor, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. Secondly, our course prices are ALL INCLUSIVE. You get to keep ALL of the educational material that is in the course. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Crew-Pak AND the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Video on DVD are yours forever. That way you can go back and refer to that anytime you wish. That truly does make a Tennessee Divers trained scuba diver the safest diver in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area.
What do I need to start?
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
- Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:
- Boat Diver
- Drift Diver
- Deep Diver
- Dry Suit Diver
- Multilevel Diver
- Night Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Search and Recovery Diver
- Underwater Naturalist
- Underwater Navigator
- AWARE Fish Identification
- Wreck Diver
How long will it take?
As with all PADI courses, there is no time limit, but rather determined by mastery of the scuba diving skills and knowledge. A typical AOW course will last about 15 hours and 5 dives over a 2 day period.
What's the cost?
Your price for your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver lessons from Tennessee Divers lessons is regularly $270.00. However, until Labor Day Weekend, the cost is $170.00. This includes the following items:
- ALL your educational material
- ALL your classroom sessions
- ALL your PADI processing fees
- ALL your entrance fees for the local checkout dive location
- lunch and snacks on local checkouts.
What equipment will I need?
For your Advanced Open Water lessons, you should have their own equipment. If you don't have it all, then it can either be rented for a minimal fee. We highly recommend that you have your own gear at this point.
